DESCRIPTION: Business, professional or commercial, as well as missionary trips.

1. Application form (click here).
2. Application letter: must include applicant’s name, address, citizenship, passport number, occupation and the reason why he/she is applying for a visa.
3. Original Passport- must be valid for a minimum of 12 months. Please make sure that the passport is not full (must have 2 blank visas pages).
4. Passport pictures.
5. Copy of U.S. Green Card/U.S. Visawhich must be valid for a minimum of 12 months.
6. Employment verification letter: printed on company’s letterhead, confirming applicant’s occupation and reasons why multiple entry visa is needed. Letter must state if employer will be covering any expenses.
7. If employer/company in the Dominican Republic is not covering expenses, provide proof of income (3 consecutive bank statements/ check stubs.
8. Guarantor letter from company in Dominican Republic confirming nature of visit and length of stay.
9. FBI criminal background check (report) with Apostille Seal from the Secretary of State of Washington D.C.

8. Medical Certificate: Letter signed by physician, stating overall health and plan of care, if applicable.
9. Criminal Background Check: issued by FBI. Requires an Apostille Seal from the Secretary of State.
10. Certification issued by the Ministry of Labor in the Dominican Republic, provided by employer.
11. Copy of diploma/certificate of highest level of education completed.
12. Copy of most recent resume.
13. Copies of 3 most recent consecutive bank statements.

DESCRIPTION: Tourism purposes only.

As of 2009, Tourist Visas are no longer being issued in the United States.

Tourists must comply with the following;

U.S. Citizens

1. Valid U.S Passport. Must be valid for a minimum of 30 days upon arrival to the Dominican Republic.
2. Must purchase a tourist card upon arrival to the Dominican Republic.

NON-U.S. Citizens

1. Valid Passport from country of origin. Must be valid for a minimum of 30 days upon arrival to the Dominican Republic.
2. Valid(non-expired) immigration status in the U.S. (example: US Green Card/Permanent Residency, US Visa, US Travel Document, Advance Parole etc.) Must be valid for a minimum of 60 days upon arrival to the Dominican Republic.
3. Flight must originate from the United States.
4. Must purchase a tourist card upon arrival to the Dominican Republic.

**Please note that as of April 25, 2018 the tourist card is now included in the airline ticket as an additional tax fee. You are no longer required to purchase it upon arrival to the Dominican Republic. *

11. Proof of income: Employment verification letter. Retirement benefit statement(SSI/401Ketc).Along with bank statements(3 consecutive months)to verify income. Retirement benefit statement require notary and Apostille Seal from Secretary of State.
12. Warrantor letter signed by Dominican spouse, notarized and legalized by the Attorney General’s office in the Dominican Republic (when applicable).
13. Proof of income of warrantor: Employment verification letter. Retirement benefit statements (SSI/401K) stating amount of retirement benefits. 3 most recent (consecutive) bank statements. Documents issued in the DR require legalization by Attorney General’s office. Retirement benefit statements require notary and Apostille seal from Secretary of State.

This visa allows single entry to the Dominican Republic and valid for 60 days.

DESCRIPTION: All students, who are not Dominican citizens, who wish to study in the Dominican Republic, must apply for a student visa.

This visa allows multiple entries to the Dominican Republic. Visa is valid for 12 months.

2. Application letter: must include applicant’s name, address, citizenship, passport number, occupation and the reason why he/she is applying for a visa.
3. Original Passport- must be valid for a minimum of 13 months. Please make sure that the passport is not full must have at least one (1) blank visa page.
4. (2) Passport photos.
5. Non-US Citizens must submit copy of immigration status (U.S. Green Card/U.S. Visa) which must be valid for 12 months plus an additional 30 days after exit date.
6. Letter of acceptance issued by the school that the applicant will attend.
7. Birth certificate. Requires an Apostille Seal from the Secretary of State.
8. Medical certificate: signed by physician, stating overall health and any medical conditions including treatment plans (if applicable).
9. Criminal Background Check: issued by the FBI. Requires an Apostille Seal from the Secretary of State.
